Hi Ladies and Gents,
I hope all of you are enjoying your week thus far. This post is going to be a big one because its about my Honeymoon:).
I definitely wanted to share with all of you what my key essentials are for vacations, how I pack and obviously my outfit details for each night.
I also will tell you guys about the resort and what we did for fun.
PACKING
So I am the Queen of packing . I travel for my job so I learned over the past five years what I can bring in a carry-on and how to fit everything I need into one luggage. So what exactly is my trick? Well first once I know I'm going on vacation, I usually start shopping little by little so I am not going broke at once to have a fab vacation wardrobe. Once I have my wardrobe I usually have a fashion show and I'm usually the model,host and audience,lol. I lay out everything and go to town with my accessories, shoes, coverups and bathing suits . I usually take pictures and make and album in my phone so I know what I have. I tried to stay in the same color categories, so I don't have to bring a lot of shoes and the same for my purses. Once I know what I'm taking, I have learned that rolling your clothing saves room in your luggage. I also started putting my bathing suits in a ziplock bag, a trick I use to tease my girlfriend for doing. When traveling with my husband I usually have him bring a carry-on of just my shoes and my carry-on usually has my accessories like sunglasses, jewelry, hats, purses and scarves. I also pack one bathing suit and outfit in my carry-on just in case my luggage gets lost, knock on wood that has never happened, but always have to be prepared.

MY KEY ESSENTIALS
- Sunhats are a must! They're cute and stylish and help block the sun when reading.
- Magazines, ipod and a book of choice.
- Sunglasses! I always brings at least three options to match my bathing suits.
- Accessories,accessories,accessories!!!! This is where you can bring to life an outfit on vacation. I tend to over pack when it comes to accessories, but I like knowing I have options.
- Toiletries!!!! I can not use hotel brand hair products, nevertheless go without my favorite hairspray to maintain this thick Puerto Rican hair,lol. I always bring nail polish for touch ups, nail polish remover and travel size shampoo/conditioner etc...
- My makeup is a must for the nightly outings, I use a Mac tinted moisturizer for the day.
OUR HONEYMOON
We actually went to St. Lucia/Sandals Resort for our Honeymoon and the best part is that we were there for NYE.
Ok, so what did we actually do on our honeymoon?! Well if you know me and my husband you would know that we both are very hard workers and both have had two jobs for most of our relationship and well we have been together 7yrs so relaxing was a must for us. I was very happy to find out that coworkers got us a candlelight dinner on the beach and a couple's massage which we absolutely loved. We went kayaking as well. We didn't do much excursions, but we did do a trash the dress shoot which was fun to do. NYE was so much fun because they had fireworks and just a sick party by the pool and beach.The spread they had was unbelievable. We also met couples that were vacationing, so it was fun to hang with them. Shout out to Connecticut and Washington DC. It was a memorable experience and cant wait to go back in 5yrs for anniversary. The food was so good, our favorite was the fresh oven baked pizza we literally ate everyday, also the crepes were so amazing, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I would recommend this resort to anyone, the staff were so friendly and the food was great.
