Mommy to be!

So I'm sure most of you who follow me on Instagram already know the reason why I haven't blogged in awhile and if you haven't guessed by now with this title, I am expected my first child. When I first found out, I was super excited but within 2 weeks my excitement soon turned to fear and misery. All my friends that are a mom prepared me for it, but my morning sickness was so extreme my doctor diagnosed me with Hypermesis Gravidarum. Over 50,000 American women are hospitalized annually due to Hyperemesis Gravidarum and lose their jobs because they are constantly out sick. I am very lucky that my job was very understanding and allowed me to take time off. My first two months I was out for the countL. I lost 4lbs which was not good since I'm already tiny and could not keep a thing down. Finally the doctor decided to put me on a zofran pump which I had to get injected in my stomach every 3 days by a home nurse. Being so sick took the joy out of being pregnant and put me in a depression, but lucky I have a loving husband, family and great friends that pushed me through. I am now feeling much better and gaining weight. I am so excited to dress my bump and the crazy part is as I am typing this my baby just kicked for the first time:) ahhhh this is crazy. I don’t know what I am having but will find out at my baby shower, either way he/she is going to be loved very much. I'm at the halfway point and can't wait to meet my angel and I’m excited to dress my baby in cute outfits J. So what do you guys think I'm having, leave a comment below, I would love to know.

Anyway here are two mommy looks from this week. I’m really enjoying dressing my tiny bump. Stay tuned for some fun blogs about my pregnancy, and for those of you that follow me and are not pregnant don’t fear I will be sticking to things you can wear, I have yet to wear maternity clothes so everything I blog or post you can wear J. Maxi dresses are my go to at the moment because they are so comfortable. Stay tuned to see how I dress my bump.
