My Baby Reveal

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Happy Tuesday! I hope all of you are having a great start to your week. I know most of you have been waiting for this post, but its been just crazy here in the Pedreiras household. My daughter has been sick all weekend, so all things I wanted to do this weekend took a back seat to cuddles and sleepless  nights. Halloween probably wont happen this year for us as the doctor said she wont be better for another week which I'm a little bummed about, but I'm hoping for the best and hopefully we can take her at least around the block on Saturday if not I'll make it up to her some how.

Ok, ok sorry for the little venting, but I had to let that out, anyway I have been dying to share pictures from our baby reveal party from a couple weeks ago with all of you. For those of you that just started following me, I found out two weeks ago I am having a little boy and its the best feeling to know I am going to have my little pair. Obviously I would have been happy either way, but I am excited to have my little man Ayden coming in January.

The last time I was pregnant I found out the gender at my surprise baby shower held by my mom and friends, this time around I figured I just have it in my home with close family and friends. It worked out as my living room and dining room is completely empty as my nesting has taken over and I had this grand plan to get all new furniture and redecorate. I plan on leaving it empty until I have Annabelle's second birthday and my shower as well so stay tuned for those events.

It was perfect because I had space to work with. My mom purchased a folding table from Sears that I can use for future events and easily store away in my garage, which I used for our dessert table. When deciding a theme I did not want to go with the whole generic themes you see all over the place so I turned to Pinterest  and found this cake and knew it was perfect for us. Annabelle's favorite nursery rhyme is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" so it was an obvious choice.

Once I knew my theme the crafting began and I went to Michael's craft store which is always my go to when crafting because they legit have everything. I wont go into details on how I made everything, but if you guys do want DIY tutorials on anything you see leave a comment below. Overall everything turned out the way I wanted it to. My desserts  are from @sophesweets on instagram, she literally makes the most delicious desserts for me and always brings my vision alive. My cake is from @cakesbystyles and she is the only one I allow to do my cakes.

Overall the day was beautiful and we are so happy that we are going to be blessed with a little boy. Stay tuned for Annabelle's birthday party in two weeks and all the fun ideas I had for her Mickey Mouse Club House themed party.

Peace & Love!
