A Day at Disney's Hollywood Studio
This post is in collaboration with Disney, as always all opinions are my own.
Hi Loves,
Happy Travel Tuesday guys! I am excited to be Sharing the 2nd day of our Disney Trip. Our 2nd day was at Hollywood Studios and honestly probably my favorite day of the trip.
Hollywood Studios I feel sometimes doesn't get the love it deserves. I think the reason is that parents may not realize what it has to offer for their little ones. Well, I think that's all about to change because I am going to be sharing what Disney has in store for Hollywood Studios.
Our Day started our first with a tour at Baby Care Center where I was able to check out what Disney has to offer new mommies and mommies with little ones who are potty training. Open during regular park hours; each full-service facility is complementary to use and
includes the following
Private nursing room with rocking chairs
Changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom
Feeding area with highchairs
Kitchen with microwave, oven, and sink
A Room with television, table, chairs, and sofa
On-site shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications and clothing for purchase
Also, a child who becomes separated from his or her parents while in the park will be escorted by a Cast Member to the Baby Care Center. Once there, the child will be looked after until the parent comes to claim the child.
After our tour, we headed to Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine Character Dining Experience – Hollywood & Vine - this was a perfect start to our morning because we were able to meet all my children's favorite Disney Junior characters like Doc McStuffin, Sofia, Jake and much more. Ayden was all about the food, while Annabelle enjoyed meeting the characters. I would suggest booking this in advance here.
Next, we headed to For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration which if you guys saw in my stories, Annabelle loves this show and so does Ayden. They get to sing along to all their favorite songs from the movie, also any show like this I personally like heading inside when its a scorcher out in Florida.
Once the show was over, we were escorted to get a sneak peek into Toy Story Land. I can't tell you how excited I am for this section to open up at Hollywood Studios. One of the main reasons I am excited about the opening of Toy Story Land is because they have new exciting things for children that are my kid's age. Rides like Slinky Dog Dash which is inspired by the dog spinoff of Slinky, the 1950s American toy classic. The best part is the whole family can ride and you will able to get panoramic views.
Alien Swirling Saucers is another new ride that will be sure to have you wanting more. Guests are taken in the playful world of Andy’s toys. This space toy is designed as a play set that Andy won at the Pizza Planet restaurant. Toy Story green Aliens swirl around in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket-ship toys, while “ The Claw” hangs overhead. I am excited to try this ride out.
Toy Story Mania which is one of my favorites is getting a new colorful toy carnival game box entrance when Toystory Land opens. With the recent updates of a third track, the popular attraction will put more guests in the carnival playset action aiming at 3D objects. We all love this ride because we all get to interact and who doesnt love a little friendly competition. Overall if your kids love ToyStory make sure to head to Hollywood Studios beginning June 30th.
Our day at Hollywood Studios was perfect for our family. If you have kids that are of preschool age this is a park you want to check out.
Stay tuned later this week I will be sharing our night at Epcot.
Peace & Love,
Lissette
