Happy Friday Babes,

Those of you that follow me on social media, specifically Instagram have been seeing that I have been asking you guys a lot of questions on what types of content you want me to share. As a creator that is always creating , sometimes it can be overwhelming, and you don't know where to begin unless it's just me being overwhelmed with too many choices of content. I sometimes look at all the photos and unedited videos, like where do I even start. You guys helped me out big time this week because now your girl has a game plan that will officially begin next week and I hope you guys hold me accountable if I don't come through. Since its Friday and raining in NJ I decided to sit down to write all about our Hotel stay in Albufeira Portugal, so get your ass nice and relaxed, grab a glass of wine and let me take you on a preview of my vacation in Portugal.

Portugal has been one of those places I have wanted to visit, but never really had the chance to. Being that my husband is Portuguese, I've been hearing about its beauty for the past 13 years. We decided that this year would be a good year to finally take that trip and bring the kids. My husband has had the opportunity to visit and even live in Portugal, but there are portions of the country he hasn't seen before, so he was specific on wanting to go to Albufeira which is a coastal city in the southern Algarve region of Portugal. This area is really known for the beautiful beaches and scenery. We spent the majority of our trip here, and I have to tell you guys I fell in love immediately. There is so much to share about this trip, so I am going to break it into different posts, so I don't overwhelm you with too much info. Today specifically, I am going to talk about where we stayed while in Albufeira.

I knew when planning this trip that I wanted our hotel to be close to as much of everything as possible. It was the first time I was taking my toddlers on a European trip and also the first time I was leaving our stroller behind. I'm not going to lie; I was hella nervous, but all worked out beautifully. Because Portugal was a country I never visited, I started to do my research on family-friendly hotels and 3HB Golden Beach Hotel kept popping up. As soon as I saw the pictures, I knew this was the hotel for us.

3HB Golden Beach is situated right in the heart of Albufeira. If you have never been to European countries like Portugal, you wouldn't know that a lot of the hotels look like mini apartments which a person like myself that have children, this is perfect. There are 54 apartments on the property and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and bars for those of you looking to party it up. The swimming pool is located in the middle of all the apartments and is perfect for those of you like myself that prefer a pool over the beach. The location was what drew me into this Hotel, the beach was a 2minute walk, which was perfect for the kids. My fear not bringing our stroller was the kids would get tired, but it was so close that there was not one time they asked to be picked up. Another great perk was that our kids were free, yup I said that right; kids under 14 do not pay.

There were so many reasons we loved this Hotel. The kids enjoyed meeting new kids from different countries at the pool, and the afternoon ice cream treats. The Hotel had a kiddie pool, jacuzzi, bar with an excellent bartending staff and lifeguard that was super friendly. There was a grocery store down the street, so we were able to buy snacks to have in our kitchenette. The balcony was big enough for ten people to layout and sunbathe, and the sunset views were breathtaking. The staff was beyond helpful at getting in touch with any of the companies we had excursions planned with. If you plan on renting a car, they have parking on the property but it is subject to availability. My husband likes to call me the bougie queen when it comes to the hotels I stay in, so if I am saying this Hotel was bomb, I mean it. I literally can go on and on about what the Hotel has to offer, but you would need a bottle of wine for that.
