How To Dress up Denim Shorts

So this week I decided I am going to show you guys how I change up my style using one piece from my wardrobe. We all know I love to shop, but reality is I need to cool down my jets and stop spending and rework items that are great pieces in my closet. I know a lot of you are like me and say I have nothing to wear when in reality I have plenty, sooooo I challenged myself to really look at what I have and mix it up. So with this challenge I chose to style one of my favorite denim shorts that has a been a staple this summer. I love that you can dress up denim shorts or  be super casual, the possibilities are truly endless. 

I styled these cute shorts with a kimono I purchased during the Zara sale. I immediately saw this kimono and needed to have it, especially because I got a major deal on it. I topped this look off with my favorite wooden heels and the ultimate it bag from Cultagia. Overall this look is perfect for the a brunch or night put with the girls I hope you guys like this look and stay tuned for some of my last summer looks before we start hitting Fall fashion.
