Hi Loves,
I am so happy to give you an update on the new home. Things have gone slower than I would have liked or expected, but we are getting there. I am thankful that you guys have been following along with process and being patient on my lack of post, but I know you guys will love as I share.
When we first moved into our home, I shared with you guys that we were looking for a new sofa and I so happened to run into Raymour & Flanigan and found what I was looking for. Well with that came the opportunity to partner with Raymour and Flanigan to share how I can create a master space for my husband and I am happy to share with you guys how it turned out.
Before I get into the design details, I want to share my experience at Raymour and Flanigan. When furniture shopping I am all about customer service and getting more bang for my buck, and honestly I received that and more at Raymour and Flanigan. I love that though there is so much to choose from and that I had sales rep to help me through the design process. I never realized that they had so many options as far as fabric to choose for your furniture. The free design service truly helps with the process of picking furniture, and I highly recommend. I also love that they give you up to date details on expected shipment times. I of course, chose custom items that added time to my expected ship date, but Raymour and Flanigan kept me updated and even had my order ready a little earlier than expected. Like I said, great customer service is important and Raymour and Flanigan does not lack in this department. The sales rep at The Bridgewater NJ location were amazing and I definitely plan on going back for our basement furniture.
Ok, let's get down to what you guys have been waiting for the styling and items I chose. I knew when designing our master bedroom I wanted to mix textures., but also keep it clean, and I feel it's exactly what I wanted. I wanted white but I also mixed in gold and wicker which I initially wasn't planning on, but everything end up tying together nicely. I think my favorite part of the room is the little nook. I love these custom swivel chairs and this beautiful coffee table which by the way it has wheels.
When planning for the master room I knew I wanted a fireplace but knew we couldn't build one in, so I found this amazing one from Raymour and Flanigan on their website. I love that the structure matches the headboard of our bed. Normally I would have chosen a tufted headboard but once again for this room, I wanted clean and simplistic so I immediately was drawn to this bed frame and I am beyond happy with it. Overall the room is exactly what I wanted and more. I have one more piece I am waiting for, but overall this room is complete. Stay tuned for more updates on rooms in the house as I take you on the design process.
Peace & Love,
Lissette
