MY MOMMY DAUGHTER TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD & THE ROYAL WELCOMING OF PRINCESS ELENA OF AVALOR
HI Loves,
Im so excited to finally share this trip with you because well for one it was such a magical trip and two , being that it was my first PR trip I couldn't believe it was with Disney. When I was first approached by Disney I didn't think I was going to be able to attend as I already had my own Disney Vacation planned for the following week, but I knew if they reached out to me to attend the Royal Welcoming of the First Latina Princess, Elena of Avalor, I had to go. With that said I decided to bring along my daughter for a fun mommy and daughter trip.
I would love to say our travel was smooth sailing but it wasnt, due to weather. What was suppose to be a early night turned to us getting in very very late, but we made the best of it and ordered late night room service in our beautiful hotel room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The Hotel was gorgeous and the staff was very welcoming so I would highly recommend staying there if you plan a Disney Trip.
The next morning my brother, his wife and my niece came and picked up my daughter to have some fun in the park while I attended the Royal Welcoming. I met up with all the other bloggers and we headed on a bus to Magic Kingdom. I was so happy I was able to share this with other Latinas and my good friend Shareen of Pearls&Paris.
As the ceremony began Cinderella and Prince Charming appeared in front of their castle, welcoming everyone and introducing their special guest Princess Elena of Avalor. In true Latina fashion Elena arrived accompanied by her people carrying banners and musicians playing the theme song of Avalor. Cinderalla and the Prince asked Elena if she can share stories of Avalor in which Elena agreed,by picking up her guitar and joining her musicians in a performance of the song “My Time,” which by the way is my daughters favorite song. I honestly teared up because It was truly magical to be a part of Disney history. To be a part of something like this after myself growing up with no true Disney Princess to relate to and to know my daughter will, its just everything to me. After the Royal Welcoming we headed to a Disney luncheon where we got to meet and interview all the creators of Elena of Avalor. The biggest surprise is that we got to meet the Princess herself. To say the day was Magical is an understatement.
Thank you to Shareen for these awesome pics!
After the day was over I changed and met with my daughter and family to enjoy some Disney time. I have to say if you plan on going to DIsney in August be prepared because its extremely hot, so just an fyi you have toddlers and infants. Since Disney was nice enough to give me Park Hopper tickets for three days I took advantage and went each day to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
Check out some pictures below of our whole trip and a cute little vlog on youtube. I will sharing Our Disney Family trip this week coming and how I prepare my family for a Disney Trip. Thank You once again to Disney for this amazing experience that I will never forget.
