Valentine's Table Scape
Hi Ladies & Gents,
Happy Valentine's Day! Though I am not big on Valentine's Day, I do like getting my house in the spirit of any holiday. Since getting new furniture in my dining room, I am sticking toward more of neutral palettes when decorating, so when deciding on how to decorate my dining table I knew I wanted to add some floral decor.
You can choose to do fake arrangements for your everyday look or purchasing some flowers weekly which I tend to do. These fake peonies are so cute to set on a table or a small arrangement in the middle to add some color, which you can see I did. I went with simplicity and I have to say I love the way it turned out.
If you’re interested in romantic table décor tips, see below for insights from Bronwen Smith, owner and lead designer of B Floral. If you guys follow me on instagram you saw their gorgeous arrangements from the Henri Bendel event I attended last month. Check out some of their designs and tips below and some pictures of my table scape. Enjoy your Valentine's Day loves.
Instead of the typical bare glass, spruce it up with a unqiue shape, color, design, etc. For a DIY-trick, neatly color a portion of the glass with chalkboard paint and write your honey a romantic love note to align with the Valentine's Day theme. You can even create multiple, smaller boquets and use vases in different heights-- they make a great table setting as well!
You can also jazz up the classic red bouqet by creating an ombre affect. Add coral or orange flowers of the same variety to the bottom of your arrangement. It's beautful and certainly in trend!
Peace & Love,
Lissette
