Winter Wonderland Christmas Decor
Hey Babes,
Can you guys believe we are weeks away from Christmas? Covid has taken a lot from all of us, but I refuse to let it take the joy of the Holidays, so that's why I went a little extra with my Christmas decor. Christmas holds a special place in my heart, and it always gets me excited to think of what type of decor to put up in my home. This year will be our 3rd year in our house, so I decided to step it up with the decorations, mainly because we will be spending a lot more time at home. I planned on sharing each room with you guys through this month and wanted to start with our formal living room.
Growing up as a Latina, there was always that living room area that no one could sit in; you all know what I am talking about. Back in the day, the couches had plastic over it so no one could ruin it. My formal living room is that room, we don't sit in there at all, so it's the one room in my house with light furniture. It was effortless to make this room into my winter wonderland because of the tones. I knew this year I wanted to have two pencil trees by the fireplace, and I couldn't be happier with the look. I did and some green to the space to break up the whites and silvers. You will also notice in each room in my home; I added a reindeer. I love reindeers so much and prefer them as decoration vs. a Santa or snowman.
This room came to life this year, and I love the way it turned out. Most of all, the decor is from Hobby Lobby, Target, Homegoods, and Michaels. I'm sure you guys have done all your holiday decor shopping, but if there is anything you see that you like, feel free to comment below, and I will let you know where it's from. I hope you all love this space as much as I do. This week I will be sharing the sunroom and dining area, so stay tuned.
Peace & love,
Lissette
