Staycation with Hotel Nyack
Let's talk Staycations! Since last year, my goal has been to find close enough gems for me to visit for a mini getaway. Many of us miss getting on flights, but it was a blessing not to travel because I was able to find pretty incredible places for those days I wanted to disconnect; this is why I am so excited to share all about the Nyack Hotel.
The Nyack Hotel is an urban oasis nestled 19 miles outside of Manhattan in Rockland County, near Tarrytown. The cool part of the hotel is that it was once an industrial landmark. The hotel boasts beautiful local artwork and an Instagram-worthy lobby and rooms. The restaurant, "The Grille at Nyack," is one of Rockland's best restaurants and bars, and I have to say I agree. I enjoyed every single drink and food so much I am planning to head back for their brunch.
I have to say I was very impressed with The Nyack Hotel. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and I love the industrial feel of it. I have always wanted to stay at this hotel, but for some reason never got the chance. I have learned to enjoy places right in my backyard because of the pandemic, and this seriously is the perfect location for a staycation if you live in the tri-state area. I also love that its minutes from town, which is so quaint. Like I said, if you want a place to decompress and love cute towns, this is perfect.
